Vic Canever Chevrolet is gearing up for another exciting year celebrating car culture in mid-Michigan through our expanded partnership with Back to the Bricks! For the 2026 season, Vic Canever Chevrolet is proud to serve as a Premier Sponsor, strengthening our commitment to one of the region’s most beloved automotive traditions while helping bring even more classic car events to local enthusiasts.
The season officially kicked off last month at the popular Chrome & Ice event, where the dealership showcased four classic vehicles and connected with passionate collectors and car fans. The event provided a great start to the year and set the tone for a full calendar of automotive celebrations.
Next up will be the Dust 'Em Off Car Show on Sunday, May 17, hosted at the historic Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad in Flint. This spring favorite invites car owners to bring their vehicles out of winter storage and showcase them in a fun, family-friendly setting.
This summer, Vic Canever Chevrolet will also bring the excitement directly to the dealership by hosting two special Back to the Bricks car shows on site. The Tune-Up Party will take place Thursday, August 7, from 4–8 p.m., giving enthusiasts a chance to get their vehicles ready for the big week of festivities. Later in the season, the dealership will host the Second Annual Bricks & Bowties on Wednesday, September 9, from 4–8 p.m., celebrating both classic cars and the Chevrolet legacy.
As summer heats up, Vic Canever Chevrolet will also take part in the main Back to the Bricks celebration in downtown Flint on August 15, which draws thousands of spectators and classic vehicles from across the region.
With multiple shows, community gatherings, and plenty of chrome and horsepower on display, Vic Canever Chevrolet is looking forward to connecting with local car lovers throughout the season. The team invites everyone—from longtime collectors to casual fans—to join in the fun and celebrate another great year of automotive tradition.
